Summary
Welcome to the Georgetown University Club of France. We are a club of about 400 Georgetown alumni living and working in France. The club organizes events every 4-8 weeks, including cocktails with visiting Georgetown professors or deans, happy hours and cultural outings. We also have social evenings with other university alumni clubs in Paris and keep our members informed about the upcoming activities of Georgetown alumni clubs in nearby countries. The Georgetown University Club of France was founded in 1991 by a group of alumni and set up as a non-profit association in accordance with French law and with the full recognition and support from Georgetown University as its official presence in France. The club's purpose is to reach out to Georgetown alumni in France to promote social, cultural and professional relations between them in the spirit of solidarity we all share as graduates of the same university. Its aim is to organize activities with alumni and the university itself to enrich our intellectual, cultural and professional lives, to provide ongoing ties to the university and to represent Georgetown's values of excellence and community in France.
