Summary
Founded in 1960, the English International Section together with the German Section form part of a regular French state school. The English section caters to bilingual children. English and History/Geography are taught by English mother tongue teachers. The remainder of the French curriculum is taught by French teachers. The school is situated within the College and Lycée de Sèvres, and caters for boys and girls grades 6 to 12. We offer school trips to London, exchanges, participate in the Harvard Model Congress and produce an annual play in English. Exams prepared are the French International Option Baccalaureate, Cambridge First Certificate, Proficiency and Advanced exams, IGSCEs in English Language and Literature. Our college counseling service prepares students for entry to UK and USA universities as well as French higher education. In a friendly, caring environment, our pupils are offered the best from both the French and the Anglo-Saxon educational traditions. As fully bilingual and bicultural students, they feel at ease anywhere in the world and this education opens horizons for them. Primary level English classes are offered on Wednesday mornings. Details are available on our website.
