Anglophone, German, Portuguese Spanish and Arab sections contribute to an international environment within a public, tuition-free, co-educational French school for grades 6-12 and preparatory classes for the Grandes Ecoles. In the Anglophone Section students follow the traditional French curriculum, replacing their First Foreign Language (LV1) with 4-6 hours per week of English Language and Literature, and 2 hours in History/Geography. These subjects are taught by English/American native speakers preparing students for the International Brevet, the GCSE (UK) exams and the International Option of the French baccalaureate (OIB). Entrance tests establish aptitude for the English Programme. French Language courses are offered for non-French speakers or students needing to improve their level of French. Graduates attend French, English and American universities. Extra-curricular activities include a Yearbook, Harvard Model Congress, a Prom and regular theatre outings.
