Summary

Memorandum of Understanding signed in July 2005 in Indianapolis. In 2005, Dr. Suellen Reed, Superintendent of Public Instruction, signed an historic educational exchange agreement with France that is resulting in several programs aimed at helping Indiana students studying French language and culture achieve at a high academic level. Indiana’s partner is the Academy of Strasbourg, Strasbourg, France, located in the Alsace region which borders Germany and Switzerland. Several major Indiana educational institutions and businesses have a presence and relationships in Alsace, including Eli Lilly and Company, Indiana University and IUPUI.
