FRANCO-AMERICAN FRIENDSHIP
Franco-American friendship and exchange are nourished by associations not only in Paris and Washington but in cities, towns and villages throughout both countries. This network of associations reinforces and deepens our positive bilateral relationship. Both French and American citizens value and enjoy associative life.

THE DIRECTORY
The American Center France directory focuses on associations working in France. The most prominent counterpart organizations in the U.S. are listed. These associations take many forms. Some are national associations with branches active throughout France, such as France Etats-Unis. Others are international, such as Sister Cities. Some associations have existed for generations, such as France-Amériques with its magnificent historic building on Avenue Franklin Roosevelt. Others bring new energy to the scene, such as the association “Cercle Jefferson” bringing together the distinguished alumni of the U.S. government’s International Visitor Program.

The American Center France directory is not comprehensive. Should you have additions or if you would like to contribute an article about a particular aspect related to Franco-American associations, please contact the webmaster.
